Amina Wadud, this controversial woman, she is breaking  many gender taboos in Islam, she is pursuing her Gender Jihad  she and many Islamic feminists are ending the male hegemony of producing the religious knowledge. she is evoking Aisha legacy, the woman who conveyed half of Islam to us, according to the Prophet(peace be upon him) speech. 

Wadud is a typical example of how media and public opinion is biased and selective, that they transmit the knowledge in a way that shape the opnion of the people. 

and is the case of Wadud, she was brutalized because she was out of the herd, and she implemented the Quranic order : Don't you think or contemplate. افلا تتفكرون

in the report of approving the book which follows says that the approach of Amina Wadud of interpreting Quran in a holistic way and considering the main goals of Sharia مقاصد الشرع , not by each and every verse alone and considering the reasons of revelation and the context is in accordance with the Islamic tradition of Tafseer or interpreting Quran.

 امنة ودود ، اسم يثير الكثير من الجدل و طالما احيط باللغط . انها استاذة الفقه الاسلامي الامريكية الافريقية التي تخصصت في اعادة قراءة و تفسير النص الديني لازالة ما علق به من الابوية و الذكورية التي تتنافي مع القيمة الاساسية في الفكر الاسلامي و هي العدالة .

امنة ودود رائدة من رائدات مدرسة النسوية الاسلامية التي تعمل علي انهاء هيمنة الرجال علي انتاج المعرفة الدينية لما ينتج عن ذلك من صبغة المعلومة الديدنة بالذكورية و اجحاف حقوق النساء 

امنة ودود لها قول شهير و هو استعادة تراث عائشة، رابع المحدثين عن الرسول عليه افضل الصلوات و السلام . من قال عنها الرسول " خذوا نصف دينكم عن هذه الحميراء"

امنة ودود تعرضت لهجوم شرس و حاد فقط لانها اجتهدت و امت صلاة، علي الرغم من ورود حادثة عن ام سليم في عهد الرسول بهذا الخصوص . و تباري الجميع في نعتها باقذع الالفظ و وصل البعض الي حد اخراجها عن الملة علي الرغم ان للمخطئ اجران.

لهذا قررت نشر تقرير الازهر عن كتاب ودود الاول " المرأة و القرأن" و هو تفسير للقرأن الكريم من وجهة نظر نسوية ، تراعي مقاصد الشرع و تتعامل مع النص علي انه كل متماسك و ليس كل اية علي حدة .
